Clare began Duttons Divers at just 19 years old, and became the worlds youngest PADI Course Director. Since then she has taught over 2000 people to dive and still conducts all sessions from try dives all the way through to IDCs for instructors. Clare has been involved in a number of commercial projects such as the filming for numerous TV shows, movies such as King Arthur, Tarzan and Pikachu.

Jean Dutton

Service technician

Jean joined forces with Clare on the uptake of Vivian Dive Centre and has been involved in the running of the centre since then. Jean is the main skipper for our dive boats, and is also one of the RYA Powerboat Instructors. When Jean is not on the boat, you will find her behind the scenes in the workshop servicing all your equipment as a qualified technician of all major brands including Mares, Apeks, Aqualung, Seac, Cressi & Ocean reef!

Jack Johnson

Dive Centre Assistant – Anglesey
Service technician

Jack is the Dive Centre Assistant at our Anglesey Dive Centre. He supports the day to day running of the dive centre and is the one to answer all of your queries about equipment, courses, diving and anything else. Jack is also a diver and passionate about the ocean and works with us for our Project Tudwals Campaign.

Kathryn Brass

Dive Centre Assistant – Pwllheli
Conservation specialist

Kathryn is our dive centre assistant at our Hafan Marina site, and is the one who you will have answering all of your queries at this location, assisting you in the dive shop and helping with all of our logistics for our specialist boat diving centre.

Tom Buckley

Boat skipper – SeaQuest
RYA Powerboat

Tom is our skipper of Sea Quest, our charter boat. Being brought up on the water, he knows the area like the back of his hand. As a diver himself, he understands the waters in respect of what you will be wanting for your dive trip, and regularly comes with us on our Project Tudwals dives too.

Colin Evans

Boat skipper – Little Viv
RYA Powerboat

Colin is our skipper of Little Viv and the one who will take you for our guided boat dives. He has years of experience of being at sea, from working on various cruise liners and other boats throughout his maritime career. As an active diver too, who better to take you on your boat adventure?!

Leanne Clowes

Assistant Instructor Trainer
RYA Powerboat Skipper

Leanne is a freelance PADI Instructor and you will usually find her at Vivian Quarry teaching courses, guiding the Menai Straits (or shore cover) and jumping off the back of Little Viv to guide the sites around the Llyn Marina. Leanne’s specialist courses are with new divers and also loves teaching experienced divers and instructors new specs! 

Lukas Stevenson

Dive Instructor & Conversation lead

Lukas is a certified assistant instructor, and the one who leads your guided shore and boat dives. He is extremely passionate about conservation and for that reason, is our Project Tudwals lead. The diversity of the marine life around the UK is what motivates him to protect it, and he loves to share this knowledge with customers.

Zack Coleman

Dive Instructor

Zack is one of our Scuba Diving Instructors, who not only teaches the basic core courses, but also many specialist ones too. He has a comprehensive knowledge of the ocean, involving not just diving, but sailing and other water sports too.

Mike Bayliss

Dive Instructor

Mike is a certified PADI instructor who you will see on your courses, and dive guiding at the Tudwals Islands!  He has been an instructor for 3 years, and diving for fun around the world since 2013. 
His absolute favourite animal to see underwater is the Octopus. Some of them can be incredible inquisitive…. and guess what, we find them regularly at the Islands and the Menai!

Emma Bebbington

Dive guide

Emma is currently working towards her PADI Divemaster rating, and will be working with us from the end of May. You will see her mostly doing our shore and boat dives, leading the way to show you all of the cool marine life in North Wales! Emma is mad on seals, and loves. nothing more than to show you the Tudwals islands where our local seal colony reside.

Tom Hampson

Dive guide

Tom has been with us since completing his PADI Open Water Course a few years ago! He fell in love the local North Wales diving, and now loves to share this passion with you all, taking you on guided shore and boat dives in the area. Like the rest of the team, Tom is very much involved with our Tudwals project as a true conservation activist.
