Previous experience & age?

No previous experience is needed for the session, it is here for you to try diving! You must be ages 10 years + to participate.

What is a try dive?

A try dive is a session which allows you to have a go at Scuba Diving with one of our instructors.

When can I do the activity?

The activity can be booked online by clicking ‘book now’, this will show the various locations and spaces available. If there are no dates that suit you, we do also run the sessions on request. Please email us.

What do I need to bring?

Depending on the location that you are taking the session at, you will need to bring different things. In general for the pool session you will need swim wear, and for the quarry site you will need thermal clothing to wear underneath a drysuit. This information will be sent on the joining instructions once booked.

Will my medical condition affect me participating?

You will be asked to complete a short medical. Depending on your condition, you may be required to have a doctors approval to undertake the activity. If you have concerns in relation to this, please contact us and we can send he medical questionnaire to you.

How deep will I go?

The depth depends on where you complete the session. The maximum depth of our pools is 3 meters. The quarry site allows a maximum depth of 12 meters and the local bay a maximum of 5 meters.

Does the session include kit?

All of our sessions include kit free of charge.

How old do I need to be?

To participate in the session you need to be 10 years old or above. We offer scuba explorer sessions from the age of 8 years old.
