Love nudibranchs or seals? Then this is the place for you! We are offering some exclusive workshops this summer with limited spaces to book. Each of these will specifically focus on UK Nudibranchs and Seals (depending on which session you book).
Nudibranch workshops
The Menai Strait is home to an abundance of marine life…. including these amazing little creatures! Our nudibranch leads, resident specialists Lukas and Paul will be running a full day workshop including classroom based learning and 2 dives in the famous Menai strait.
Here you will learn all about what to look for to find the nudibranch hotspots, the different species and nudibranch behaviour.
The 2 dives will involve heading into the water and looking for which nudibranchs we can find, learning their names and how we identify them.

Seal workshops
Our local dive site at the Tudwals islands is home to a colony of 60 seals…. pretty cool right?! With marine biologist Kathryn and instructor Clare, we will be running a full day workshop including classroom based learning and 2 dives with the seals for you to learn more about them.
During the day you will learn all about seal behaviour, how to interact with them and all of the interesting seal facts specifically in relation to the native common and grey seals.
The 2 dives will involve heading into the water and observing the seals at the islands, being able to directly view their behaviour and learn how we identify them.
