Is the course physically demanding?
The course in itself is not designed to be intentionally demanding. The idea is to provide divers with the skills to enable them to conduct a search, and rescue a diver in distress when diving. You will not be asked to undertake any activity which you do not feel that you are unable to.
I have only just started diving, should I wait before taking the course?
We encourage divers of any level to take this course. There is no timeframe as to when a diver emergency may occur, and we would like all divers to have the knowledge and understanding to deal with them.
Where will I take the course?
The course can be taken at any of our dive centres. In general we try to conduct one day at the beach and another day at the quarry, in order to cover different environments on the course.
Do I need to bring anything for the course?
We provide all equipment, however recommend having your own in water pocket mask for the course, which you can purchase from our shop either in store or online.
