Dive guide is the perfect course for anyone wanting to lead their own dives, or begin a career in diving as a guide. The course allows a professional and non-professional route to meet your personal needs, with the non pro designed to give you the skills to safely plan, conduct and guide your own group dives, and pro to give you the further tools to work with dive centre customers.

Previous experience & Age?
To conduct this course you must be 15 years + for non professional and 18 years + for professional. You must have 40 logged dives as a minimum and be an open water diver with diver stress and rescue. If you are unsure that you meet the requirements, please contact us.

The Divemaster course is designed to build on the dive guide criteria, with the skills of guiding as well as assisting on courses. During the course you will be taught various skills in techniques, in becoming a competent and safe dive leader and course assistant.

What is the timeframe of the course?
The timeframe of the course is very much student led. There are various elements that you will be assessed on, such as delivering skill demonstrations, how well you assist with courses and your ability to dive guide. You have the opportunity to dive with us as little or as often as you would like, to build up these skills. We will undertake the assessment when you feel that you are ready.
How much previous experience do I need to undertake the course?
You can take this course as soon as you have the minimum requirements. These is no issue having only previously completed the pre-requisite courses - in some cases, this is actually beneficial. We advise that you have experience in sea diving before undertaking the course, however this is something that we can assist with.
Do I need my own dive equipment?
You will need your own dive equipment for the course. We offer kit hire at our dive centres, as well as package deals on any equipment that you may need. It is important that you have your own equipment so that you can become familiar with it.
